Lino Printing Workshop in March held in Muswell Hill

These workshops are a great way to get started with the art of block printing. No experience or drawing skills needed, just your willingness to have a go.

I will teach you how to use the tools, create and carve your own designs and then ink and print your stamps ready to take home. We will be using easy to carve rubber blocks which is easier to carve than traditional lino and is perfect for printing your own art, cards, wrapping paper, t-shirts, tea towels and table cloths.

All the tools and equipment you need will be provided and the workshops will be held at Muswell Hill Books & Parlour, 190 Fortis Green Road, N10 3DU.

The classes are specifically kept small so that I can work with everyone at their own pace and at their own level. All beginners will start with a simple one colour design but as your confidence grows you can move onto multi block, reduction or jigsaw block printing. I will discuss with everyone ahead of each class what they would like to try and what they would like accomplish.

This workshop is designed for adults although children over the age of 8 may attend with their parent/guardian booking a space each.

Each place costs £45 and includes all materials used on the day or you can book all 4 classes at £160.

You will take home the stamps you have carved (equivalent to an A6 lino cutting) as well as any prints or cards printed on the day. You can then continue using your stamp to make lots of prints and gifts for friends and loved ones.

Workshops are 3 hours long and will start at 2pm and finish at 5pm. Please choose from one of the dates below or feel free to book more than one if you would like a more in depth learning experience.
