The Indian handmade paper that these birds are printed on gives them a rustic yet modern, contemporary feel. They look great framed in a floating glass frame so you can see the deckled edges. One version the birds are brighter in a bold blue, green combination and the other option the birds are a sumptuous deep green.
These Colibri and flower are hand printed onto handmade recycled paper using hand carved blocks. The colours are an ultramarine and green ombre with a touch of yellow/ orange in the centre of the red flower or a deep green with a red flower with a touch of orange in the centre. Each bird and flower is different and the way they are inked makes each print unique.
The thick, textured paper is deckled on all 4 sides and is 21 cm by 21 cm and the image is 19 cm by 19 cm.
