A beautiful set of 6 eco-friendly cards featuring British woodland animals. Perfect as a gift or to use for the festive season or throughout the year.
These 6 Forest Friends are part of my Coldfall Wood series- this collection features a large woodland print and these 6 smaller animal prints. I originally felt inspired to carve this series when my local council cut down some 200 year old ancient oak trees in our local woods leaving behind mainly newer younger trees. My heart went out to the local animals living in this forest that they lost so much of their home.
I am aware that I use paper, on a daily basis and lots of items that come from trees so I'm in no way innocent in the preservation of our planet. However, I strive everyday to be sustainable and eco-friendly.
This set of 6 cards feature a robin, a squirrel, a fox, a bat, a mouse and a hedgehog. Each set comes with one card of each animal. Each card is a different colour and each animal is surrounded by British found forest foliage. The cards have been left blank inside.
Each card when folded is 15 cm by 15 cm and comes with a recycled brown envelope.
Each set is simply packaged with some jute string and a handprinted tag. All the cards are made using card from sustainably managed forests.
